We have a wide range of high-quality matting materials, including paper and acid-free paper. We also let you see the effect of various mat treatments and various mat widths in our Custom Frame Shop.
We use only high quality acrylic on our framed products. We offer two glazing options, including standard acylic and non-glare acrylic. Note that acrylic glazing now is very popular because it has outstanding optical clarity and a lightweight impact resistance. Just like any custom shop, our frames come in a variety of materials — solid wood with various finishes, metal, and wood composites. Solid wood finishes include gesso, colored metal leaf, and burnishes. Click the "See frame details" link on any frame corner in the frame shop to see the description of its component materials.
At this time, we do not sell framing materials unless purchased and assembled with a print we offer.
We provide custom framing for the majority of items found on our web site, including canvas transfers. Due to shipping restrictions, however, we are unable to frame any prints where the frame size is larger than 42” x 53”. If you choose an item that is too large to frame, you will be notified of this in the Custom Frame Shop. If the item has a border, you may have the option of cropping off the border to reduce its size.
